I adore strawberry shortcake too. I love the version at jones the grocer mandarin gallery. I know they’re more popular for their croissants but their version of strawberry shortcake is amazing. the sponge is crumbly, soft and literally melts in your mouth. It’s really light.their chantilly cream is unforgettable. It’s not as heavy as regular whipped cream and is perfect. my favourite strawberry shortcake! I could eat a whole piece and still want more. you shd try it out if you can. It looks like this!
