love your post! im a pretty big fan of liushabao myself. I once have the best liu sha bao at the dragon something restaurant at excelsior hotel (next to funan). The buns come as part of the ala carte dim sum brunch buffet. Very affordable. $19.90++ per pax on weekends. Now dunno where to find the restaurant or similar standard buns anymore. If u can know where the restaurant or chef move to, pls post. Thks!
