Butter is great. Margarine is also fat, so between tasty and sucky fats, i’ll take the tasty one anytime.

I like yakun too and my favourite has to be the one at Parkway, eggs done nice and great tea and coffee served. =)

The standard of CMC’s Kaya Toast has dropped drastically. I would love to try Tong Ah’s Crispy Kaya Toast! =))

How did you managed to take pictures of their food ? I thought that they were pretty strict about the no photography rule.
I LOVE Ya Kun breakfast. I always bring the bottles of kaya to Sydney for my loved ones.

GMNC’s kopi-O & orange ciabatta toast followed by Barcook Bakery’s cream cheese & raisin buns.

I love Good Morning Nanyang Cafe! Too bad it only has two outlets, both of which are not very accessible for me. The kaya+butter orange ciabatta is a tasty fusion of Asian jam and Italian bread – yummy!

Tong Ah is good too especially the thin crispy toast. Wash it down with strong black coffee is pure bliss!

I am excited to read others’ recommendations. I had Kaya Toast (at Ya Kun) for the first time last week (http://notabilia.wordpress.com/2010/11/25/kaya-toast-for-breakfast/) and I can’t wait to have it again.
