I think you left out one of the best (and less known) things Shanghai has to offer – the mini dumpling soup. At tiny, hole-in-the-wall, roadside establishments. With the spiciest dry chilli paste. Absolutely divine.

I am going to Shanghai next week… Any good recommendation for dinner???

1. Where’s a good place to have the signature Xiao Long Bao??

2. A good place for their local specialties???

3. Where is the fine dining restaurant mentioned here??? Was it really good???

4. Of cos the steamboat place… Nice to have steamboat cos the weather’s gonna be pretty cold next week.

NBice post on shanghai.. Been there two times this year for work but didnt know that there is nice peking duck there..

Can you kindly let me know the place for this peking duck/xiao long bao.. Will want to visit there when i go over once again in July..

N also.. How much does the peking duck cost..

Very nice pictures Love the Waterhouse, and Table No. 1 as well. Their rooftop is superb though unfortunately it is too cold now in Shanghai to go up there.
