I cannot believe how arrogant the staff were ! On top of that, the food over-rated (could be written by related parties ?), and I am shocked to have seen (seemingly) a creepy crawly near the entrance. (my blurry eyes?)

The tea lounge at Regent Hotel doesn’t serve very good English tier high tea. It may be personal taste but I think shangrila’s rose veranda beats it anyway anytime.

Oh my goodness I just saw this post (I’m slow I know) and I have to say, that is the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! And if there are better ones, tell me please!!!!

And I did like the chocolate fudge cake =( My friend as well.. personal taste I guess.

felicia: I know, many people call Marmalade Pantry’s rendition as the best sticky date pudding in Singapore. But the last time i tried it, the dessert didn’t really wow me. Maybe it’s just me? lol

taufulou: nah, it’s just the chocolate cake that taste normal. The cheesecake, and their cupcakes are really good. I’d go as far to say that marmalade pantry has one of the best cupcakes in Singapore!

hannah: Well, Marmalade Pantry is on the 3rd floor of Ion Orchard! So don’t worry, there won’t be a flood so high up! heh yea check out the cheesecake, and the cupcakes are a must have!

Really good ah the cheesecake? I think Marmalade Pantry standards have dropped dramatically after their move from alais Renaissance to Ion. After they moved to Ion, the only time I went there for lunch, I wasn’t impressed and I’m not sure I’ll be back there again since their sticky date pudding standard have dropped to a very low point.

Weird, there’s always a crowd at the place whenever I walk by though. Perhaps they don’t share the sentiments. Hehe.

Hi Brad, thanks for stopping by at my blog. Raine told me about u, and I’m glad I checked u out. Your photos are gorgeous! Your reviews make me miss Singapore food. When I saw your picture of Palm Beach chilli crabs, I almost hated u. Haha! Just kidding!
