Waku Ghin is all hype. Food not good when we went there. So pretentious. Also the place was like a cemetery when we went only us there until around 10:30 when we left.

Definitely CUT without a doubt. Been following Wolfgang puck for quite some time, thru his days on the food network to iron chef and all that. Been fantasizing visiting Spago on the sunset strip… so CUT would be a fantastic alternative!

PIty Waku Ghin will seat only 28 at a time. Prepare to see a long waiting list too! I loved his wagyu beef. And the “oyster” made from scallop was excellent too!

If I can’t get into Waku Ghin, I will certainly try CUT again. Wolfgang Puck’s steak is quite memorable.

alkanphel: Even if u fly to Sydney, also impossible to get a table unless u booked way in advance. And for Waku Ghin, sorry to burst your bubbles, but they only have 40 seaters in the restaurant, so it’s gonna be even harder to get a table! LOL

Yeah my choice would also have to be Waku Ghin! If I can’t go to Tetsuya in Sydney, this would be the next best thing. But I wonder if I can even get a reservation there

My choice would be Waku Ghin. I’ve heard much about Wakuda and his restaurant in Sydney. Really would just love to have a taste and make what I’ve heard a reality.
