My boyfriend and I went to NYDC after dinner and had an 4/10 experience, I would say. We were not able to substitute anything on our pizzas and the walnut brownie has walnut SHELLS in it. My boyfriend literally bit into 4 pieces of walnut shells and had to spit it out. I kindly told the server and the kitchen fussed about it and convinced her that it was suppose to be in there. In all honesty I’ve worked at the restaurant industry and I know what good and bad service is, this was definitely a disappointment. Nydc is not worth it, I’d say spend that extra buck and go somewhere else.

Try Fluffy Dessert at Tanjong Pagar Road just opposite those bridal boutiques. They serve nice & fluffy snow ice! Taste like ice cream! They have many other types of dessert too. Like Tong Shui.

Chef Yamashita has left Flor to set up his own cake shop at Tanjong Pagar Plaza. Shop name is Chef Yamashita. The cakes are simply out of this world, but it seems no one knows of his new shop.

Bakerzin used to be very good for their cakes (new york cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, tiramisu) but it seems like they’re going down the hill these days.

hey thank you for your recommendation. I have been finding places to eat dessert and I got it now. I also would like to recommend a place which is located in raffle city B1 called ‘fruit paradise’, the cake they sell range of 7-15 dollars and all of the flavour tarts are really yummy. especial the crust is crunchy yet it wil melt fantastically in your mouth. the cake is also relatively tall and the quality is up for standard. it is worth to try the tiramisu tart and fruit tarts.

Hi Brad, you should check out Artesans Sweets (32 Holland Grove Road,Henry Park Apartments). I personally feel that they make the best Macaroons in SG with standard near to Lauduree! (:

A new dessert that popped up recently at Wisma Lv 2 called ‘Paris Baguette’ has nice cakes and pastries too! Love how light their cake’s cream are! Definitely needs to be up on this list!

The Cheesecake Cafe indeed have the best cheesecake in Singapore. Their cafe have victorian-style decoration adorning the walls. I’m not a big fan of cheesecake, but I can’t resist on their cheesecakes. I love their Peach Jelly cheesecake. Not so cheesy Do take note for dine-in, minimum of one order per pax and no photography of premises.
