Magma has closed down since quite some time. Sadly the owner was hit and killed by a car while visiting Germany.

There is one German Restaurant in Middle Road ( Bugis Area ) called Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique Cafe. Tried it once…a new dining experience for me ..not bad.Dishes that I recommended are their Pork Knuckle and the Blackforest Cake. Yummy ~

recently I stumbled upon a german restaurant known as stuttgart black forest boutique scafe located at middle road below GSM building. I was surprised that the décor and the ambience of that place was fantastic. I also noticed that they do serve german food and beer. seems kinda of crowded when I was there.

you should also try magma. it is in bukit pasoh road, It’s a good German Restaurant

Have no idea… but I heard that it had pork knuckles, steaks etc on the free flow.. so was kinda interested. Too bad its only on sundays.

stammtisch wasn’t anything nice. i was sorely disappointed. but they do bring in the white asparagus during its season and they prepare it pretty well. werner’s oven has good sauerkraut. very homestyle and they have nice pork snitchzel and this fried cheese appetizer if i remember correctly. both of them are frequented by the german expats in sg (daddy works in a german company). happy eating!
