Surry Hills & Darlinghurst! There's so much to explore in those places so next time you come you should probably continue that journey. I'm still working on that one ;)

I'm amazed at how much you tried! I've always given Pad Thai a miss at Chat Thai - maybe just my intuition but next time you must try their desserts! They are yummm! Oh, and give Mamak a try though coming from Singapore, it probably doesn't appeal to you too much. The Malaysian cuisine that place offers is quite good for a Sydney restaurant I think :)

Surprised the photos turns out as nice as they did, considering the lighting circumstances, especially at Rowda and Chat Thai.

It's interesting to read the perspective of a person that doesn't seem all that familiar with Lebanese food. Never would have looked at it from that point of view. There are even better places than Rowda but that would have meant going further away from the city and deeper into suburbia.

Good thing you added the note at the end. This was a little excessive, even for us locals but, they don't know about the other time that you'll no doubt blog about :)
