Nice post! After being with my boyfriend for quite some time now it has definitely gotten easier to recognize what he is expecting and wanting for holidays like Valentine’s Day. He’s a gadget lover who enjoys his TV and travels a lot for business, so I usually stick to those areas on what to get him. In addition to the wallet and chocolate ideas you mentioned I think I’ll also be getting him a Sling Adapter from our TV provider Dish. It’s an inexpensive gift that one of my co-workers at Dish recommended for only $30, which will let him use the Dish Remote Access app he’s had to watch all of his favorite subscribed programming live or recorded anywhere he is in the world. I think he’ll really enjoy it and it’s something that won’t hurt my wallet too bad either. It I had the funds; I’d totally use your idea and get him a DSLR camera, so maybe I’ll just keep that idea for next year!

staycation! then to visit the titanic & cartier exhibition at art science museum. follow by dinner. after tt some groceries shopping then we will head back to hotel to watch a movie or smth.And we will end this staycation with brunch at one of your “best brunch in Singapore” suggestions. just went to onaka for take away dinner, and the food was GREAT! we had scallop & mango salad, omega-3 rice with salmon, spiced pear juice and the soya ice cream. can’t say much about the service except that the staff was friendly. i’m sure it would have been nice to dine there.
unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for us!!) the place is not so easy to find… so it was quite empty… quiet… which is nice since it has a pilates school, body mind and soul shop, etc. zeeeeennnnn
