Singapore Airlines Promo

Travelling is the perfect time for us to discover ourselves. A simple getaway can do wonders for your soul. With prices of airline tickets falling faster than a soufflé, everyone should go for a holiday. Besides cheap flights from budget airlines, there are also occasional promotions from some of the best airlines in the world.

I’ll cut to the chase. While “stalking” airline websites, I saw some special offers from Singapore Airlines (SIA) which include cities in Asia like Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City, and Osaka. I’m really tempted by the flight promotions to Bangkok, Taipei, and Tokyo!!!

What to do on rainy days

What to do on rainy days

It has been raining a lot recently, not that I’m complaining, since I’ve been mostly staying at home after coming back from KL.

I’m not sure about you, but rainy days do funny things to me. They say a picture tells a thousand words, so I got my uber-talented friend Missim to draw this for me. Rainy days make me hungry. Rainy days make me sleepy. Rainy days make me fat.

I hope the rain isn’t disrupting your party plans. Have a Merry Christmas, you guys!

It is not a secret that I lurveeee desserts, but not many people know what is my favourite dessert. The truth is, I don’t have one. You see, I’m afraid of commitment. Graze at Martin Road No. 38

Graze

One of the good things about living in Singapore is that there are so many restaurants around. Even though I eat out quite often, it is still impossible for me to try all of them.

The new Graze at 38 Martin Road (sister to the original Graze at Rochester Park) is a relatively new restaurant, and I’ve been wanting to go there since my visit to KHA next door.

Graze is actually quite close to my ideal restaurant. It is classy, elegant, sexy, romantic, and modern. It’s the kind of place where you can go for a business luncheon, a romantic date, a laid-back weekend brunch, and even a private party.

Antoinette Parisian Patisserie Tea Salon

December 14, 2011 | 6 Comments

Strawberry Baba

Antoinette is a Parisian pâtisserie and salon du thé by Chef Pang Kok Keong, who is one of Singapore’s best pastry chefs.

Sugar Daddy Group – which currently includes Antoinette and Pique Nique – is Chef Pang’s first business venture after a career of working for different hotels and Les Amis group’s Canele restaurants.

I was over the moon to hear about Antoinette Patisserie. Needless to say, I was very excited to try all the desserts. My first visit was a media tasting session and we had the chance to try quite a few dishes.

Since then, I’ve been there on numerous occasions as a regular customer, and ordered various items on the menu. My goal was, or still is, to try all the cakes by Chef Pang.
