Caffe Beviamo actually manages to catch LIC attention because of its apparent lack of signboard. The first time i know of this self-effacing and laid-back restaurant is during my visit to Tetsu at Tanglin Mall. The Caffe Beviamo there is located on the ground floor and i walked around the restaurant three times trying to spot its name but to no avail.
After knowing that Caffe Beviamo is also available at Paragon level 5, a visit looks to be on the cards. And after some “investigation”, LIC found the signboard for Caffe Beviamo!

The interior of the scoopshop is rather small, customers can choose to have their favourite scoop of ice cream there, or on-the-go. The position of the scoopshop is just a stone’s throw away from their significant competitor, Haagen-Dazs which is also located on level two of Vivocity.

People always say, never eat cakes after 9.30pm! But who cares about the calories that comes along with the sinful indulgence? LIC says, have your cake and eat it! Especially since premium hotel cakes are going at half price after 9.30pm!
My secret food partner and i decided to go on a cake-hunt as we recalled that some hotels have half price promotions on their cakes after a certain timing. We went to Marriot hotel first, after which we found ourselves at Grand Hyatt, Mezza9.

I know this is kind of over-due, but here goes. Went to Secret Recipe (IMM) with mister Ang like close to one half months ago? Hahaha! But i had cravings for cakes, and at Secret Recipe, they do it good, afforable and it comes in lots of variety.

Pan Grilled Catch of the day with Lobster sauce ($11.50)
Served with french fries, Pan Grilled Catch of the day is prepared with home-made lobster sauce. Frankly speaking, the main reason i choose this dish was because the lobster sauce entices me, and also partly because i want some fishy-stuff. But this dish really disappointed me, mayb it is not bad, but it didn’t really suit my taste. The lobster sauce was nothing special, the fish was not really good. It was kind of bland.
