HEARTY BREAKFAST AT THE FAT TURTLE
8am: The Fat Turtle is a cute cafe which we frequent for affordable brunch and coffee. For those who cannot wake up early for breakfast, you will be happy to know that The Fat Turtle offers an all-day brunch menu from 8am to 6pm every day. Try their famous Red Velvet Pancakes and Churros.

CHILL OUT AT POTATO HEAD—ONE OF THE COOLEST HANGOUT SPOTS IN BALI
10am: Everyone knows Potato Head; it is one of the most popular hangout spots in Bali to chill out with your squad. Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak is home to two restaurants, three bars, an infinity pool and a 500 square metre lawn that overlook the Indian Ocean.

MERAH PUTIH—ONE OF THE MOST GORGEOUS RESTAURANTS IN BALI
12pm: Merah Putih Restaurant is one of the most gorgeous restaurants in Bali. Indonesian cuisine is a communal affair, and this is reflected in Merah Putih’s offerings of dishes in small and large plates. The dining concept is actually inspired by the local Nasi Padang, where you have an array of dishes to choose form—hence the small plates to share.
You have to go to Merah Putih for a meal when you are in Bali.

2pm: Hailing from Sydney, Mrs Sippy is the most happening pool club, restaurant and bar in Seminyak right now. Known for its fantastic saltwater pools and dive tower, the modern pool club features a man-made beach, tall palm trees and comfortable day beds.

5pm: Char Char Bar & Grill is a restaurant and bar known for its impressive Mongolian Grill, which serves up a range of meat and seafood grilled on a hot plate before it is served to your table. Sit by the open tired steps and people watch or dine at their rooftop al fresco area with your companions.

8pm: This is our favourite Italian restaurant in Seminyak because you get so much more than what you pay for. Most of the pastas and pizzas on the menu are priced less than RP100,000/ S$10. You can even complement the food with house pour wines starting from as low as RP25,000/ S$2.50.

DAY TWO IN SEMINYAK
8.30am: There are several popular Babi Guling (Balinese suckling pig) eateries in Bali—with Oba in Ubud being the most famous. But if you are not planning to travel to Ubud, you should check out Warung Pak Malen—Jalan Sunset in Seminyak—which is also well known for its Babi Guling.

12pm: Opened by Chef Will Meyrick—who is also behind the famous Sarong Restaurant at Petitenget—MAMA San is an uber-trendy restaurant which serves Asian-inspired dishes. It is one of the most hyped about restaurants in Bali, and rightfully so.
It reinterprets and serves polished and modern Asian street food in an upmarket environment. Not an easy feat, that is for sure.
