Singapore Food Blog

Last year, I had the pleasure of co-organizing the annual Singapore Food Bloggers Dinner at Gunther’s Restaurant. Fast forward one year, many new food blogs have joined us with the common passion of exploring all the best restaurants in the Singapore food scene. Ivan from food.recentrunes has taken up the responsibility to feed all the hungry Singapore food bloggers this year.

Food bloggers can be really nice people — if you do not mind waiting for us to take photographs, and having your food cold.

Details of the Singapore Food Bloggers Dinner:

When: Wednesday, 25th August 2010, 7.30pm-11pm

Where: Michelangelo’s, Block44/1- Jalan Merah Saga, Singapore 278116.

Price: $50 nett.

Starter
Crabmeat Cake with Avocado top with Mesclun Salad, Beetroot Paint & Balsamic Reduction

Pasta
Short Tube Pasta with chunks of Tuna in Homemade Tomato Sauce with Capers, Olives, Chili, Garlic, Basil, White Wine & rich Fish Broth

Main Course
Breaded Veal Scallopine pan fried in Butter glace with Veal Jus, Cherry Tomato Salsa & Lemon Wedge

OR

Sea bream blanket with crispy Brick Phyllo on Butternut Pumpkin Puree top with Tomato Salsa

Dessert
Pistachio Financier with Strawberry Salsa & Mint

    Sadly, I am not a Singapore food blogger, but I were one, I might attend it cos the food at Michelangelo’s sounds delish!
