Ice Cream Kingdom: Name the Ice Cream Contest

Best Ice Cream Singapore

Ice Cream Singapore

The Naming Contest is now closed. Stella will pick the winner and I will announce it here shortly

* * * The winner is Sean, & the new flavor is Ms. Banana Butterspice * * *

Stella just created a new ice cream flavor and I dropped by Ice Cream Kingdom to try it. In case you are new here, Ice Cream Kingdom is an ice cream place in Singapore that serves the best ice cream (according to me) using premium ingredients (fresh skimmed milk, premium cream, and fresh fruits).

Before I digress, the main ingredients for the new flavor are Banana, Peanut Butter, and cinnamon. So should we call this ice cream Banana, peanut butter cinnamon, or Peanut butter banana cinnamon? I’m not good at giving names, and both sounds  equally boring to me. Stella needs your help to name the new flavor!

Who will have thought that Cinnamon can actually goes well with Banana (other than the usual apple-cinnamon combination)? The peanut butter was very subtle, and the bananas practically stole the show with a potent, yet distinct after-taste. Stella uses 7 bananas just to make a batch of ice cream, so you can imagine how banana-y it tasted. While the cinnamon was not obvious, but it added a slight crunch – giving it a complete taste.

There’s plenty of Chocolate + Banana creations, but Banana and Peanut butter? Maybe I am ignorant, but this is the first time I am seeing this unique combination.

Simple because the King himself came up with this genius idea of slapping banana and PB together on a sandwich. (http://splendidtable.publicradio.org/recipes/main_pbsand.html)

    Secret Mix (Banana Based).

Customers will ask, or you can explain what is in the secret mix :) Then you can start conversations using this, or maybe if they guess what are the 3 main components, you will give them more ice-cream?

    Just being random!

    Munkey Mojo!!!

Cause monkeys love bananas! (duhh hahaha) and you make it sounds as if it somehow turned out to be an almost perfect blend of the flavours of banans, peanut butter and a hint of cinnamon, that I can imagine ANY banana lover (like me) goin’ crazyyy over it. (or monkeys (who SUPPOSEDLY love banans too) at that xD)(imagine monkeys goin crazy over ‘Munkey Mojo’! Haha!) and THUS, Munkey MOJO!! (or MONKEY MOJO, whichever Stella thinks looks better on print! (if she chooses this xD)) (sry for the long comment! usually long-winded heh :D )

i would call it ‘banana montana’

since the dominant flavour is banana, i thought the name should probably mention it!
also, i like the catchiness of the rhyme – it makes the name stick. besides, peanut butter is the most popular spread in america. :)
‘hannah montana’ is one of the most popular disney shows among kids now… the association makes the flavour sound funky and current!

Since she’s the only one who came out with the unique creation, I thought it’ll be nice if the flavor is named after herself. And also because of the new Ice Cream Kingdom logo which looks like a queen with a crown. This flavor will be exclusive to ICK and people will remember the name of the creator :)

A tongue-in-cheek approach to naming this new concoction of Banana, Peanut Butter, and cinnamon. There’s also a slight mischevious connotation that these ingredients are up to something naughty to tantalise and wild your tastebud.
