German Restaurants in Singapore

March 13, 2010 | 16 Comments

I have this mad obsession with list, so here’s the list of German restaurants in Singapore for you (and me) to try out. Due to their strategic location in the popular shopping malls, Brotzeit & Paulaner Brauhaus are arguably the better known German restaurants when it comes to German food in Singapore.

But I have heard good things about Werner’s Oven in the East, and I’m quite keen to go for Magma’s weekend brunch too. I already went to Paulaner Brauhaus a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully this list can spark your crave for German Beer, pork knuckle and sausages.

I just found my new love, her name is pork knuckles.

stammtisch wasn’t anything nice. i was sorely disappointed. but they do bring in the white asparagus during its season and they prepare it pretty well. werner’s oven has good sauerkraut. very homestyle and they have nice pork snitchzel and this fried cheese appetizer if i remember correctly. both of them are frequented by the german expats in sg (daddy works in a german company). happy eating! :)

Simon: HAHAHA good eyesight! yeah it was, richard brought me there :p

Shirin: Actually quite little considering there’s only a few restaurants? but still, it will take some time for us to check out all of them one by one yeah? hee

LFB: you are the man for the job!

Joeron: Unfortunately no, i went for lunch during weekday. The brunch is only available during weekends, why don’t you try it and let me know? :D

brenda: Thanks for the tip-off! i always pass by the place but never seem to attract me. werner’s is kind of far (i stay in the west). but will definitely check it out when i happen to travel to the east!
