1st Feb was the birthday of my brother John, and also my Gui-jie! hahaha. was not able to post this as i was in camp on that day, so i’ll like to wish both of them again a happy birthday!
Ah, yes this mango cake is from Lavender cakes Malaysia. My dad brought it : )

Lavender makes very nice breads, pastries and cakes. There is this cake that they used to sell but seems like they no longer bake it anymore. It’s called tofu cakee. It’s light and soft and fluffy like tofu and with jap red beans sandwiched between the layers of cake. I love it very much

ladyironchef — February 21st, 2008 at 11:12 pmgot 1 choc cake at awfully choc for $50 bucks .. abt there… but it’s damn good… moist fluffy choc sponge cake sandwiched in between layers of rich choc fudge… yummy… but the ultimate choc cake I ate is from Patissier. Normally when you buy 1 slice of cake, the shop would cut it from the big one. But not for patissier. The 1 slice of cake is the mini version of the big one… it’s like eating art and gourmet cake at the same time….. you should try it… 1 slice about $6 bucks I think… but it’s quite small…. but I think it’s ok to pamper urself once in a while…if u like durian cake I can recommend u another shop
